Alexandros Xenophontos (b.1996, Cyprus) is a multidisciplinary artist, architect and educator. Working across a variety of media that includes installation, sculpture, object and 3D-animation, Xenophontos’ practice explores fantasy, hybridity and temporality creating active and experiental narratives to evoke feelings of absence, unease and occasionally laughter.  Alexandros makes kin with past and present digital media examining the spatiality of technology, often by employing queer methodologies and infrastructural critique.

In 2018, Alexandros founded Endrosia: an interdisciplinary collective that works with long-term research projects, zines and publications, while hosting exhibitions and events at a project space in Nicosia. Currently, Endrosia is part of the Cypriot representation at the 2024 Venice Biennale.

Alexandros completed their MArch - Architecture at Central Saint Martins in 2022. Their final major project, ‘Acts of Institutional Technoqueering' was nominated for the AJ student prize and the MullenLowe was awarded with the Spatial Practices Prize for project excellence.
